Why is BetterMult.com better?

I made BetterMult.com to help my second-grade daughter memorize the multiplication table. I wasn't happy with other multiplication pages and apps that I found. Here is the thinking that went into BetterMult.com:

The multiplication table is shown at all times. Only the upper half of the grid is shown, to show that there really aren't that many facts to memorize.
As a study mode, you can mouse-over or tap the cells in the grid to see the expression and answer.
In both study mode and quiz mode, each problem is shown with a grid of small blue squares. This reminds the student that multiplication of two numbers can be thought of as a rectangular grid, and when the two numbers are the same, that rectangle is a square and we call the product of the two numbers "a square."
Althought it's most common to practice with the questions presented in random order, there's also an "In order" mode to help kids practice counting by a number.
Before the quiz, you can turn on/off any row, column, or individual problem in the table. This lets you practice exactly the questions you want. For instance, you can practice just the twos, or just the twos and threes. You can even practice just the squares.
During the quiz, correct and incorrect answers are tallied in the multiplication table. This lets you see at a glance which products the student has trouble with. The student can show the finished table to a parent or teacher so, for instance, the parent can see that the student got all the questions correct when the timer was set to three seconds.
When the student gets a question wrong, or doesn't give an answer in time, the correct answer is shown, and the student has to click a "Continue" button next to the correct answer. This lets the student have as much time as necessary to see why they got the problem wrong.
Both timed and untimes modes are offered. The default time to answer is set to 60 seconds, so as not to be intimidating. But in real life kids will need to be able to recall these facts in three seconds or less, in order to do more complicated problems like multi-digit multiplication.
Finally, my daughter was forgetting some of the addition facts also, so I put in an Addition mode.
